Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

bayes.markets (the "site") is operated by K.I. IT Consulting L.L.C-FZ, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, email support@bayes.markets.

2. What we collect

We keep the site non-custodial, so we collect as little as we can. We collect:

• Account and sign-in data. When you sign in, our authentication and wallet provider (Privy) handles your chosen method - an email address, a passkey, or a Telegram account - and gives us an identifier and your public wallet address. We do not see your passkey or your card details.
• Wallet and on-chain data. Your public wallet address and the transactions made from it. Blockchain activity is public by nature; we read it, we do not create it.
• On-ramp data. If you buy crypto through MoonPay, MoonPay collects your payment and identity data directly and tells us only the result (for example, that a purchase succeeded and reached your wallet). We do not receive your card or bank details.
• Support messages. What you send us by email, and the wallet address you include so we can help.
• Technical and usage data. IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed and basic request logs - used to run the site, keep it secure, and work out which jurisdictions can be served.
• Local storage. The practice game and some settings are stored in your own browser, not on our servers.

3. Why we use it

We use this data to let you sign in and use your wallet; to show your balances, positions and history; to provide and improve the site; to detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security problems; to apply the access restrictions the law and the underlying protocol require; to answer your support messages; and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performing our agreement with you (to provide the site); our legitimate interests (to secure, run and improve the site and prevent abuse); your consent (where we ask for it); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, and only as needed:

• Privy - authentication and self-custodial wallet infrastructure.
• MoonPay - the fiat-to-crypto on-ramp. When you use it you deal with MoonPay directly, under MoonPay's own terms and privacy policy, and MoonPay is the controller of the payment and identity data you give it.
• The underlying decentralized protocol - orders you place are sent to it and settled on public blockchains, which are themselves public.
• Cloudflare - content delivery, DNS and security in front of the site.
• Telegram - only if you choose to connect a Telegram account for sign-in or notifications.
• Authorities - where we must disclose data to comply with the law or a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or users.

6. International transfers

We and our providers may process your data in countries outside your own, including outside the United Arab Emirates. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it. On-chain data cannot be deleted, because a blockchain is permanent and is not ours to change.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email support@bayes.markets. These rights do not apply to public blockchain data, which we cannot change or erase. For MoonPay's own data, contact MoonPay.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and the security of your wallet, keys and sign-in method is in your hands - we cannot recover them.

10. Children

The site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be made clear on the site.
